Two security personnel were killed in IED blast in Bijapur on Monday. Naxals targeted a bus, which contained 30 Jawans.

The bus was on the way to Jangla area of Bijapur. Special director general (anti-naxal operations) D M Awasthi said that, “They were travelling from Kutru to Jangla when the bus was targeted by the Maoists. Two jawans of district reserve guards (DRG) were killed and five were seriously injured”.
