CONGRESS GOVT COLLAPSED IN PUDUCHERRY AFTER LOOSING MAJORITY IN ASSEMBLY

Puducherry (The Stellar News), Saksham Kalia: On Monday, Puducherry govt losses power after not proving their majority in Union Territory. Today, V Narayanasamy led Congress government not able to prove his majority and looses power. After walking out the assembly V Narayanasamy submitted his resignation to Governer Tamilisai Saundararanjan.

Following the demand of floor test by opposition led All India NR congress founder N Rangasamy, the floor test was ordered by Governer Tamilsai Saundararanjan. Rulling govt just able to show their 12 MLA’s in favour (including an independent MLA supporting govt) out of 26, while the opposition have 14 MLA’s. There are some reports that the party is in touch with some AIADMK MLA’s to get majority. V Narayanasamy walked out before the motion put out of voting in assembly.

In assembly V Narayanasamy said that, opposition is trying to make govt out of power. Former LG Kiran Bedi and central government tried to topple the government elected by people of state. Then he moved to attend the special one day session ordered by Governer Tamilsai Saundararanjan who had taken sworn after removing former LG Governer Kiran Bedi.
