Delhi (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: In a shocking news, 26 years old girl was physically assaulted by some men while she was coming to participate in farmers protest at Tikri Border, Delhi. A 26yrs old social activist from west Bengal went to the Tikri Border along with some people outfitted themselves as supporters of farmers, against the three farm laws.
According to the FIR lodged by victim’s father, she has reached Tikri border on 11th April and a week later she got severe fever with covid-19 symptoms. Then she admitted to a private hospital where she dies due to covid-19.
Police lodged FIR against the four men, from which two Anup and Anil Malik are two main accused in case. Both these accused are who run ‘Kisan Social Army’. Anup accused for raping the girl had stated in a video message that there was an incident of ‘assault’ in train, but the allegations of rape are false. He also alleged centre for damaging reputation of farmers protest by these allegations.
The Samyukta Kisan Morcha said in its statement that it “stands with the struggle for justice for our deceased woman colleague. SKM has already taken strict action against the accused in this case and we are committed to take this fight for justice to its logical conclusion.”
“When this came to the notice of the SKM, we decided to take the strictest possible action. Four days ago, the Tikri committee of SKM had already removed the tents and banners of the so called ‘Kisan Social Army’. The accused were also barred from participating in the movement and public appeal was issued for their social boycott,” the statement stated.
Now, this is on Police that how they proceed in this case’s investigation. As she has died due to corona virus, the body of woman would not undergo post-mortem.
