Delhi (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: In a bid to get the attention of Government of India, Sanyukt kisan Morcha an umbrella body under which the farmers agitation is going on, called for Bharat Bandh. Under this the roads, national highways and Railway Stations has been blocked in various areas of the country. They announced to implement this decision from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm on 27th September, 2021.
Thousands of farmers came on roads to agitate against the three farm laws passed by Government of India last year. The fear of losing their land led the farmers to sit on roads for about 10 months, and are still ready to agitate till the government would repeal the farm laws.
The stiff between the farmers and government is still on, and both sides are not settling on any point. Farmers are stiff on the repeal of three laws but government is only ready to do changes in laws.
While the impact of Bharat Bandh has seen in various places of India, prominently in Punjab and Haryana districts, Moga, Amritsar, Hoshiarpur and others. Noticing the heat of agitation Police has already took security measures and barricaded many areas. Delhi is also on high security considering the extent of Bharat Bandh call, as the farmers are agitating on the borders of National Capital.
To show support to Farmer Agitation many political parties, including Congress, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and BSP welcomed the call of Bharat Bandh. Farm Union leaders call to shut closure of government and private offices, educational and other institutions, shops, industries and commercial establishments. This agitation has already faced all the seasons of weather, as this agitation was started in last year winters and now the winters is set to hit the country again.This is very immediate to resolve this issue rather than this would turn into a chaotic movement.
