Ayodhya (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: In an unprecedented decision, Government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to Lit up the city of Ayodhya with 12Lakh Diyas on the holistic occasion of Diwali. CM Yogi after coming into power has started many symbolic works including lighting the thousands of Diyas following the trend started from the time when Shri Ram came back to Ayodhya after spending 14 years in forest.
The number of Diyas is continuously increasing every year and now reached to 12 Lakh which is going to lit the Ayodhya city. Last year 6 lakh diyas were lighten and it was a world record. Now this time Ayodhya is going to break its own record. Out of 12 lakh diyas, 9 lakh 51 thousand duyas will be lighten up at “Ram ki Podi”, while remaining will be lighten up at other places of city.
Govt also arranged multiple Ramleela acts, in which a team from Sri lanka, one team of Nepal and teams from Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, Karnataka, Gujrat, West Bengal will participate in five days Deepotsav Program and will portrait the messages of Bhagwan shri Ram.
In this five day Deepotsav Program, govt has organized multiple cultural programs, 3D holographic Program, Lazer show and fireworks. District Commissioner of Ayodhya Nitish Kumar said that, on 3rd November CM Yogi and Governor Aandi Ben Patel will welcome Bhagwan shri ram, Laxman and Mata Sita from helicopter in a symbolic way.
This is really welcoming step as this will support the local vendors of Diyas and will revive the old culture of India which involves celebrating the festival of Diwali by this way. As Ayodhya being known for its spirituality and close relation with Shri Ram bring millions of Tourists, so this will become another reason for tourists to come in Ayodhya.
