New Delhi (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: A disturbing news came from Ukraine on Tuesday reports an Indian students loses life in Kharkiv area of Ukraine amid heavy shelling by Russian army.
India’s Ministry of External affairs tweeted the news of the loss of Indian life on Ukrainian soil expressing their sorrow. “With profound sorrow, we confirm that an Indian student lost his life in shelling in Kharkiv this morning.” The ministry said, “We convey our deepest condolences to the family.”
The MEA spokesman Arindam Bagchi tweeted, “Foreign Secretary is calling in Ambassadors of Russia and Ukraine to reiterate our demand for urgent safe passage for Indian nationals who are still in Kharkiv and cities in other conflict zones.”
Meanwhile, Karnataka State Disaster Management Authority Commissioner Dr Manoj Rajan said, identified as Naveen Shekharappa was from Chalageri, Haveri, and had left for a nearby store to buy something when he was killed.
