JAMMU (The Stellar News), Anil Bhardwaj: A written complaint was lodged by PP Bathindi regarding a person namely Narinder Pal Singh S/o Sardar Nanak Singh R/o Ajeet Nagar, Upper Gadi Garh wherein he stated that some unknown persons stole a bag containing cash of around Rs 1.5 lakh from his auto load carrier which he has parked at Mecca Chowk Bathindi. On this, a case FIR No. 101/2022 under sections 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Bahu Fort and investigation started.
After this special police teams of PS Bahu Fort under the supervision of SDPO East Zaheer Abbas Jafari were constituted. The team led by SHO PS Bahu Fort Inspr Nayat Ali assisted by I/C PP Bathindi PSI Mohd Younis Khanda y did strenuous efforts and with the help of CCTV footages of the area finally rounded up a suspected person namely Basit Khan S/o Saleem Khan R/o Doongiyan Bathindi Jammu. During questioning the said person confessed his involvement in the above case and on his disclosure, stolen bag along with cash Rs 1,29,564 was recovered from his possession.
