Delhi ( The Stellar News ) : The former PM of Japan, Shinzo Abe was killed on July 8, 2022 around 11:30 am during his election campaign in Nara city. He was shot down by 41 year old man, named Tetsuya Yamagmi, resident of Nara city. His body arrived at his home city, Tokyo, on Saturday, 09 July 2022, after he was fatally assassinated. Japan’s local media has stated that a night vigil will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022 and his funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022.

The security of the other prominent Japanese political leaders has been tightened after the unfortunate incident. The Punjab government has also announced two-days state-mourning in his honour.
