‘Koi Mil Gya’ actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi dies at 68 of cardiac arrest

Maharashtra (The Stellar news): Known for his roles in movies like “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,” “Koi Mil Gaya,” and “Ready,” veteran actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi passed away on Thursday morning after a heart arrest, according to a family member.

Ten days ago, the 68-year-old actor had a heart arrest and was sent to the suburban Mumbai hospital Kokilaben Dhiruben Ambani.

“He had a heart arrest and was kept in the hospital for eight to ten days. He was receiving treatment for his breathing problems. He died on Thursday at 4 a.m. from a cardiac arrest, according to his son-in-law Ashish Chaturvedi.

In Hindi movies like “Taal,” “Fiza,” “Asoka,” “Bunty Aur Babli,” “Krrish,” “Gulabo Sitabo,” and the web series “Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story,” the character actor gave outstanding performances.

One of the earliest members of the film community to honour the actor was director Hansal Mehta.

The director, who worked with Chaturvedi on the series “Scam 1992,” wrote on Instagram, “RIP Mithilesh ji.” The Cine & TV Artists Association’s (CINTAA) official Twitter account wrote, “CINTAA offers its condolences on the loss of Mithilesh Chaturvedi.”

The cremation services for Chaturvedi will take place in the evening at a crematorium in Versova.
