The Stellar News: On Thursday, Finance Minister Arun jaitely reveals the Union Budget 2018 in the Parliament. Arun Jaitely presented the increased amount of Defence budget by 7.81 per cent i.e 2.95 lakh crore which was Rs. 2.74 lakh crore last year.
Defence is the department which needs more and more attention, as Indian armed forces facing many serious challenges on Pakistan and China borders. To enhance our defence power and army efficiency, government increased defence budget by 7.81 per cent.
Among this budget Rs.99,500 lakh crore has been allocated for capital expenditure to purchase new weapons, aircraft, warships and many other military hardware weapons. Rs. 1.95 lakh crore has been allocated to the revenue expenditure which includes salaries and maintance.
