Five days ago, two Kashmiri students were assaulted by a group of people in Mahendergarh, Haryana. On the other hand, a J&K student was beaten by a group of students in Mullana sub-division of Ambala on Wednesday.
The victim named Mudasir Ahmed, a native of Srinagar, is studying in a private university of Haryana. On Wednesday, when he was returning to his hostel after attending a class, a group of students of same university allegedly assaulted him outside the campus.
SHO Rajesh kumar stated that Mudasir has been physically assaulted by the fellow students. The reason of this incident is that Mudasir is from Kashmir. Police asked to the university authorities to take control over this discrimination.
Mudasir has not filed a police complaint against the offenders and urge to university authorities to take the relevant action against them.
