Two Indian journalist working for French news agency will be deported today, who were arrested in Maldives on Friday, as they allegedly violating the immigration rules.

The journalists were identified as Money Sharma from Amritsar, Punjab and British national Atish Ravji Patel from London. They were first arrested by Maldives police on Friday then handed over to immigration authorities. According to Maldives government both journalists were on tourist visa and they were working in Maldives in violation of immigration law.
