Second-year law student Dileep Saroj (26) had beaten to death in Allahabad on Friday and he died on Sunday. After that students on Campus protested violently and damaged a state roadways bus by throwing stones on bus. Police and Rapid Action Force (RAF) were organized at university campus on Tuesday to control the violence.
Moreover, the main accused of this incident Vijay Shankar Singh, an Indian Railways employee, was arrested from Sultanpur on Wednesday confirmed by Senior Superintendent of Police Akash Khulhary.
According to Allahabad police, Vijay Shankar has very strong links with Rashtriya Lok Dal Politician, Sonu Singh and a powerful person Chandra Bharda Singh. Indeed, police have some photos as evidence, which shows the direct link of main accuse with Sonu Singh. Chief Minister Adityanath has announced Rs. 20 lakh reimbursement to Dileep’s family, as he died after harsh assault.
