In Delhi, a prisoner escaped from police custody after throwing chilli powder at policemen around 10:30 am on Monday.
According to the information, Sandeep Kumar alias Sanjay, who was a prisoner under murder case, was brought to Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Science for follow-up visit on Monday. He had a minor tooth removal surgery on February 9 and advised to visit again to dental institute on February 19.
When he was coming out form the Mulana Azad Institute of Dental Science along with police cops, his associates threw a chilli powder into the eyes of police cops. Police cops were unable to see and they thrashed with pain. Sandeep kumar and his fellow friends escaped from the place immediately.
The case has been registered under relevant sections of IPC and investigation is on.
