On the event of International Women’s day Indian Railways deployed all women (TTE) travelling ticket examiner on Mumbai-central-Mumbai-Ahmedabad Shatabdi Express.
Allahabad intercity Express also deployed women staff on this occasion. Many other similar initiatives were taken by Indian Railways to celebrate the day.
