Hoshiarpur (The Stellar News): GEMS Cambridge International School, Hoshiarpur, managed by Vasal Education, celebrated Mother’s Day with great zeal. The event was specially organized for the mothers of students from all junior wing classes, marking a day dedicated to honoring motherhood. The celebrations included several unique activities crafted to make the day memorable for all the mothers in attendance. Students and teachers jointly created beautiful and captivating posters and organized photo sessions as a tribute to the mothers. The program was coordinated by Madam Pushpinder Kaur, who shared that a special arrangement of music and dance was held in the school auditorium, along with engaging competitions to add vibrancy to the occasion. Key attractions included a Treasure Hunt and a Bouquet Making Competition, which generated immense enthusiasm among both mothers and children.
Other activities included Balloon Stomp, Freeze Dance, Movie Mom, Name the Tune, Dumb Charades, Reel Making, and Game Riddles, providing an exciting and joyful experience for all participants. Principal Sharat Kumar Singh honored all winning mothers with mementos and emphasized in his address that mothers are a child’s first teacher, imparting the foundational knowledge of life. Headmistress Madam Jasjeet Mundi remarked that the word “Mother” is complete in itself, symbolizing unconditional love that even the divine aspires to attain. In a joint statement, Vice President of Vasal Education, Madam Ena Vasal, and Director Madam Aditi Vasal, appreciated the pivotal role of mothers in society. They highlighted that mothers are the foundation of creation and the first gurus of their children. Chairman of Vasal Education, Mr. Sanjeev Vasal, extended warm greetings to all mothers on this special occasion. The event beautifully celebrated the essence of motherhood, fostering joy and respect for maternal contributions.
