A man was arrested with fake currency notes on Thursday from Akhra Fatak area, Kolkata.
The fake notes were in denominations of Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 500. The face value of recovered currency is more than 1 lakh. The accused is a resident of Manasipalli in Nadia district.
The case has been registered and investigation is on.
