New Delhi (The Stellar News),Saksham Kalia: On Monday, Government of India launched a nationwide vaccination drive for people above 60 years and persons above 45 years with illnesses. This is the second drive of vaccination in India. Previously, vaccination drive for all health workers, police officials and other corona warriors was launched by Indian Govt. In this process about 10crore people are expected to be covered. Previously, about 1.45crore people were successfully vaccinated. In this drive, Indian health department issued vaccines will be used.
Today, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi leaded vaccination drive. He got nab of vaccine and gives message to country about safeness of vaccines. Many questions were raised about the use of Bharat Biotech developed vaccine COVAXIN. So, to clear confusions PM takes nab of COVAXIN. He also tries to give message to the voters who are going to vote soon in elections. He had taken nab from nurses, belongs to Kerala and Puducherry and also seen wearing scarf gifted by lady of Assam.
Today, registration process to apply for vaccination was opened on 9:00 am. People were allowed to register through www.cowin.gov.in and Aarogya Setu app. After the opening of sites about 1 million people have already registered till 1:00 pm according to reports. Government already announced that vaccine shots will be given free of cost in Government hospitals and private hospitals will be allowed to charge maximum Rs250 for vaccinating per person in country.
