Ola, Yamaha and Suzuki are launching their electronic scooters in India

Petrol prices in India are increasing day-by-day and price has reached to Rs.100/ltr. The question here arise that how people can afford motor vehicles when prices of petrol are going beyond the limit. Theory of demand says if prices of petrol will increase than cars/scooter demand will either decrease or people will shift to  other option.

People can now shift to electronic vehicles. Options for electronics cars are less in India. Where as there are other easy and affordable options for electronics scooters in India. Scooter brand are launching their electronic two-wheeler in India. Other company’s after Revolt, Ather energy, Bajaj Autos and TVS motors are going to launch their two-wheeler in India. Government policy has been made flexible for the manufacturers as  they will get subsidy.  Companies like Yamaha are also launching their electronics scooters in India due to this reason .

Ola electric is also going to launch their two wheeler. According to Media reports they will announce the price in July. Company had already started working on the scooter as they are spreading their “Hyper-charger network” in the country. This network will include 400 charging point across the country. Swap battery will be used in Ola electronic scooter. The one time charging range of the scooter will be 240 km. Suzuki motorcycle India will soon launch their e-scooter Burgman street 125. Company was testing scooter since long time. Yamaha company presented the concept of e-scooter in E01 E-Scooter Toyota motor cycle show. Company also launched EC-05 electric scooter this year. this scooter is has the feature of removable battery. Range of the scooter is more than 100 km/hr. According to Media reports Fascino 125 FI Hybrid and Ray ZR Hybrid will be launched by next year.
