“I PAY Rs 2,75,000 AS TAXES”, PRESIDENT REPLIES AS CRITICISM RAISED ON HIS SALARY

Delhi (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: President Ram Nath Kovind putting stoppage on the criticism on his salary and taxes he pays. President kovind is on three day visit to his hometown and is travelling on Indian Railways. In a address to people of his hometown he urged everyone to pay taxes for the sake of development.

After that criticism started on the President Kovind salary and amount of taxes he pays. Giving reply to the criticism he said that, he get Rs5lakh salary/month from which Rs2,75,000 goes in taxes.

He also remarked that, others can earn more than the amount he save after paying taxes. Yesterday, at an event at his village, the President said he had never imagined that “an ordinary village boy” like him would have the honour of occupying the highest post in the country.
