Delhi (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: In a recent announcement by union finance minister nirmala sitharamana, 1.1 lakh crore loan guarantee scheme has been announced for the covid-19 effected sectors of india.
From this amount about Rs50,000cr will be given to health sector and Rs60,000cr is allocated for other sectors. The sector-wise details will be given as per evolving needs. This credit guarantee scheme will help in facilitating loans of up to Rs 1.25lakh to 25lakh persons via MFIs.
Finance minister also promised to give financial support to 11,000 registered tourist guides/travel and tourism stakeholders through the loan guarantee scheme for COVID-affected sectors. While Indian Government had decided to give free tourist visas to first 5lakh people after starting visa issuance. The Atmanirbhar Bharta Rozgar Yojana is further extended from June 30, 2021, to March 31, 2022
