J&K/DODA (The Stellar News), Anil Bhardwaj: Continuing its drive to tighten the noose of drug peddlers, Doda Police has booked a most wanted notorious drug peddler in Bhaderwah and lodged him in District Jail Bhaderwah as preventive detention. While giving details, Police said that a number of complaints were being received at Police Station Bhaderwah regarding involvement of notorious drug paddler namely Tarun Kotwal S/O Shiv Kumar Kotwal R/O Haveli mohallah Bhaderwah in drug peddling in Bhaderwah Town and its peripheries.
Acting upon the complaint, a detailed report of his involvement in drug peddling was prepared by Police and a team of Police Station Bhaderwah led by Inspector Jatinder Singh Rakwal, SHO PS Bhaderwah arrested notorious drug Peddler and produced him before the Executive Magistrate 1st Class Bhaderwah, where from he was sent to District Jail Bhaderwah under preventive detention. In last one month Bhaderwah police has booked 09 Notorious drug paddlers in preventive detention.Doda Police is repeatedly appealing the general public to extend cooperate and assistance to Police so that drug smuggling, manufacturing/selling of illicit liquor and other crime related activities are rooted out from the society and crime free atmosphere is built up.
