Yashwant Sinha gets the support of AAP in the presidential election

Delhi ( The Stellar News): Following the AAP’s political affair committee MP Sanjay Singh said that AAP party has decided to give its support to Yashwant Sinha in the upcoming presidential election and this decision was taken on Saturday noon, July 16, 2022 in the meeting of AAP’S Political Advisory Committee (PAC). Yashwant Sinha is in the race for the top constitutional post of the country with Droupadi Murmu, the candidate chosen by the BJP led NDA.

Sanjay Singh also added that they respect Droupadi Murmu but AAP will support the opposition candidate Yashwant Sinha. The meeting in this regard was attended by AAP national convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, MP Sanjay Singh, Punjab MP Raghav Chadha, MLA Atishi and other members of the PAC. The AAP is the only non-BJP, non-Congress outfit with the government in two states- Delhi and Punjab. It has 10 Rajya Sabha MLAs from thr two states including three from Delhi. Also the party has 92 MLAs in Punjab, 62 in Delhi and 2 in Goa. Voting for the presidential election is scheduled to be held on July 18, 2022.
