Jhansi (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: During annual firing at Babina Field Firing Ranges on 6 Oct, a tank barrel burst took place. Tank was manned by 3 personnel. Commander & Gunner succumbed to burn injuries. Driver is out of danger & under treatment. The incident is under further investigation: Indian Army statement
Indian Army officials said, “Two Indian Army personnel including a JCO lost their lives after the barrel of a T-90 tank burst during field firing exercise today in Babina Cantonment near Jhansi. Court of Inquiry has been ordered to investigate the incident.”
