TWIN BLASTS OCCURRED AMID HIGH ALERT FOR RAHUL GANDHI’s BHARAT JODO YATRA, SIX INJURED  

Jammu and Kashmir (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: On Saturday, two blasts occurred in Narwal area of Jammu amid the Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra’s  security high alert. The second blast exploded 20 minutes later the first blast in the Narwal area of Jammu.

After the explosives, forensics team and dog squad along with army personnels reached the blast site and collects samples as part of their investigation.

Cong General Secretary KC Venugopal on J&K twin blasts said, “2 weeks before yatra began, I met J&K L-G & all our leaders in J&K are in constant touch with the security personnel. It is their responsibility to take care of such incidents. Bharat Jodo yatra will continue no matter what”.

&K LG, Manoj Sinha has strongly condemned the blasts in Narwal, Jammu this morning. Senior police officials briefed the Lt Governor about the blast and on the state of investigation. He called for urgent steps to identify and take action against those responsible

The Lt Governor has offered heartfelt sympathies to those injured. He also announced a relief of Rs. 50,000 to those injured in the incident. The Lt Governor said that the administration would ensure best possible treatment and extend every help required by the families.
