J&K/DODA (The Stellar News) Report-Anil bhardwaj: Acting tough against the wanted absconders, Doda Police has launched a special drive against the absconders/ wanted criminals and on the proceedings of Doda Police (16) absconders wanted in various cases of heinous nature were declared as proclaimed offenders by the orders of Hon’ble Court and additionally property of two absconders after declaring their proclamation was attached by the orders of Hon’ble Court.
Pertinent to mention here that property (land) measuring 12 Kanals and 18 Marlas situated at Mugal Maidan Kishtwar belonging to proclaimed offender namely Lal Din son of Noor Din resident of Dul Mugal Maidan (District Kishtwar) has been attached for his involvement in FIR No. 10/2018 registered against him at PS Dessa wherein he was absconding. Property (land) measuring 4 Kanals 2 ½ Marlas situated at village Phagsoo Thathri belonging to proclaimed offender and hardcore terrorist namely Abdul Rashid son of Arsulla Khanday resident Khanpura Tehsil Phagsoo District Doda presently in PAK/POK was attached for his involvement in FIR No. 23/1997 registered against him in PS Thathri.
In place to mention here that most wanted absconders and hardcore terrorists whose proclamation was ordered by the Hon’ble Court on the proceedings initiated by Doda Police are (1) Mohd Amin @ Khubaib son of Dawood Bhat resident Kathawa Tehsil Phagsoo District Doda and (2) Mohd Ashraf son of Shamas Din resident of Kakoo Tehsil Gandoh District Doda who are also presently in PAK/POK. These terrorists after joining militancy in early nineties and remaining involved in terror related incidents like attack on civilians, security forces, arson had ex-filtrated to PAK/POK and are still there.
Apart from the above, the other absconders who were also wanted in various cases of heinous nature and were declared as proclaimed offenders on the proceedings initiated by Doda Police are (1) Irshad Bashir son of Bashir Ahmed Sheikh resident of Batote A/P Nagar Bhaderwah (2) Ram Singh son of Dalair Singh resident of Punakar Tehsil Gundna District Doda (3) Parshotan Sing son of Paras Ram resident of Draman Thanote Tehsil Rajgarh District Ramban (4) Parman Singh son of Krishan Singh resident of Mandole Tehsil Kastigarh District Doda (5) Balbir Singh son of Doulat Ram resident of Kellar Bhaderwah (6) Rattan Singh son of Swami Raj resident of Choundary Tehsil Bhalla (7) Sajjad Ahmed son of Ghulam Mohd Bhat resident of Chilli Pingal (8) Ankush Kumar son of Satpaul resident of Chirya Tehsil Thathri (9) Shah Din @ Saleem son of Abdul Majeed Bhat resident of Trankal Tehsil Kahara District Doda (10) Shah Din son of Faqeer Mohd resident of Trankal Tehsil Kahara (11) Bashir Ahmed son of Mohd Mussa Gujjar resident of Malath Tehsil Chilli Gandoh (12) Ghulam Qadir son of Mehar Bakash Gujjar resident of Malath Kuti Gehsil Gandoh.
It will not be exaggerated to say that Doda Police is in process of initiating proceedings under section 82/83 CrPC against other local terrorists who have remained involved in terror related activities in District Doda during militancy in the past and presently in PAK/POK wherefrom they are now alluring the local youth of the District through virtual mode to joint terror fold and revive militancy in District Doda.
