A joint commissioner of income tax department, Ram Babu Gupta was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday for molesting a teenage Sikkim girl at her hostel. The victim is a daughter of head constable of Sikkim police.
According to police, Ram Babu Gupta headed 50 coaching institutes for medical and engineering entrance examinations. The victim girl has been attending the coaching classes in Ram Babu’s coaching institute from last one year. The coaching institute is on Boring road, Patna and the hostels are situated at Digha railway colony. There are more than 2 dozens of girls who are staying in the hostels for study.
Victim girl filed a police complaint against the accused, in which she alleged that this incident took place on Saturday evening, when she was alone at her hostel room. Ram Babu came and entered in her room. He locked the door from inside and sexually assaulted her.
Ram Babu Gupta denied the charges as he said that, he warned the girl for uploading her photograph on Facebook, so she is targeting him. He added, she is taking a revenge by putting the allegation on him.
