Guwahati (The Stellar News): Assam has improved its Covid-19 recovery rate to 98.05 percent as it maintains active novel corona virus cases at 3142 till last evening. The State reported 86 new cases in the last 24 hours to increase the total tally to 211513. By now 207394 individuals were discharged from hospitals where as the State corona casualty has risen to 974 till date.
Manipur, where its chief minister N Biren Singh tested positive for Covid-19, reported 382 new cases during the last 24 hours. The State has presently 3146 active cases and it lost 236 individuals to the pandemic. It recorded total 23400 Covid-19 positive cases where 20018 patients have recovered till date. Recovery rate stands at 85.54 percent.
Nagaland reported 103 new Covid-19 cases to increase its total tally to 10,777. Presently the tiny State has 1,406 active cases. As 66 individuals were discharged from hospitals after treatments yesterday, its total recoveries have gone up to 9,203. The State has lost two persons to the Covid-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, Tripura improved its Covid-19 recovery rate to 96.33 % with 822 active cases across the State. During the last 24 hours, 75 new cases were reported where as 95 individuals were discharged from hospitals after medical interventions. The total State tally rises up to 32,367 and by now 31,156 patients have recovered from the
infections.
Mizoram reported 40 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, were 11 patients were discharged from hospitals. The State tally rises to 3647 where 3,157 patients have recovered from the virus infections. Presently the Myanmar-Bangladesh bordering State has 485 active cases and its recovery rate stands at 86.55%. Arunachal Pradesh reports 36 new Covid-19 cases to increase the total tally to 16037. Meanwhile, 14937 patients have recovered and its recovery rate stands at 93.14 %. Till date 49 persons had died of Covid-19 complications in the State. Presently the Tibet (China) bordering State has 1051 active Covid-19 cases.
