Gurugram (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: The Akshay Kumar starrer movie, “Special 26” became inspiration for Nuh’s Municipal Corporation chief for acting like the Mumbai Police cops and looted Rs 5.7 lakhs from a Delhi firm last week.
The ruling BJP-JJP alliance in Haryana was left red-faced after the Chairman of the Nuh Municipal Corpration arrested by Delhi Police for his alleged involvement in an organized robbery. Reportedly, Sanjay Manocha and his six accomplices allegedly posed as Mumbai Police officers and looted Rs 5.7 lakhs.
Police arrested Sanjay along with his aide Zahid and recovered Rs 2.5 lakh from one of the accused. Sources said that Sanjay has contested civic polls with the support of BJP-JJP. Congress leader and Nuh MLA Aftab Ahmed said, “This accused holds an important Public office. He has not been sacked even after his arrest. The ruling alliance must give an explanation.”
