Anjum Moudgil Wins Silver in Women’s Rifle 3 Positions: Shooting World Cup

Indian Shooter Anjum Moudgil clinched a silver medal in women’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions event at the ongoing ISSF World Cup in Guadalajara, Mexico. This was Anjum’s first World Cup Medal. It was very difficult in windy conditions to shoot 453.2 in the 45-shot final.

This was India’s eights medal of the competition and first silver. India had already won three Golds and four Bronze medals.

Anjum Moudgil is a 20- year-old Chandigarh based rifle shooter. She started competitive shooting in 2009 and competes in three events being 10m Air Rifle, 50m 3 Position and 50m Prone. Anjum has been a part of the Indian Shooting Team since 2010.
