Tokyo (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: A man dressed up in joker attire and brandishing a knife stabbed at least one passenger on Tokyo commuter train before starting a fire, injuring passengers and making passengers to escape or jump from windows.
Tokyo Fire department said 17 passengers were killed injured, including three seriously. They said all of them were not stabbed, killer only stabbed one 70 year old passenger.
As per police, the attacker has been identified as 24-year old Kyota Hattori is now being arrested and is taken for investigation. Police also said that, attacker told that he wanted to kill people and get the death penalty.
Police added that, the attacker was adoring Batman villain character, the joker. The photos and videos posted on social media by eyewitnesses showed a man at the scene wearing a green shirt and purple suit in what appeared to be a Joker costume.
