Hoshiarpur (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: The only prominent road to Chintpurni Mata Mandir has finally got attention at political and administration level as patchwork started with the request of sitting MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa. Bhram Shankar Jimpa, Punjab Cabinet Minister and MLA Hoshiarpur in a meeting with PWD officials, administration officials and Road Contractor requested contractor to start filling pots of Chintpurni Road promising him to provide respective expense.
As per sources, Brahm Shankar Jimpa slammed administration officials for their ill-management, poor working and urged Contractor to fill big pots on roads as famous Chintpurni Mela’s are scheduled from next week onwards. Getting this assurance contractor started work on Chintpurni road.
While a high level drama also happened in cross-road of Chintpurni road where Former BJP MP and incumbent BJP Himachal Pradesh in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna did a symbolic protest against the poor condition of road by polishing shoes of common public and others came with him. But this action of Khanna is trolled by others as the road is under Central Government and BJP has its government at central level.
This is very shameful that, BJP leader and MP from Hoshiarpur Lok Sabha seat, Som Prakash has not done anything for the construction or repair of this road.
This is the first time that any Punjab state government and sitting Hoshiarpur MLA and Cabinet Minister Brahm Shankar Jimpa has shown interest in this road as poor management of PWD officials and ignorance at National level was making people suffer.
