Punjab (The Stellar News) Saksham Kalia: An android smartphone has been recovered from a High security zone of Faridkot Jail, from the Sidhu Moosewala Murder case accused Monu Dagar. Dagar is accused in providing logistics and arranging weapons, vehicle and two gangsters of Lawrance Bishnoi gang for killing the Famous Punjab Singer Sidhu Moosewala.
The special investigation team chargesheet had stated that Dagar arranged Priyavrat Fauji and Ankit Sersa when he was lodged in Faridkot jail.
“Criminals in jails often use SIM cards to download specific mobile applications on their phones to make encrypted calls instead of direct calls, reducing the chances of being traced through the device’s IMEI number. They remove the SIM from their phones and use Wi-Fi hotspots,” said a police official requesting anonymity.
